A brief history about myself: I was first introduced to the art of stained glass in 1990 by enrolling in a beginner’s class through the Juan De Fuca Recreation guide (Victoria, BC) as an interesting hobby. I continued to produce a few pieces as gifts over the next few years, but started in earnest to pursue the craft in 1995 when I moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba and took advanced classes at a well-known studio, Prairie Stained Glass (PSG). I was a student there for roughly a year, at which time they offered me a job. Of course I enthusiastically accepted! I worked and trained full-time at PSG for the next 4 years, learning many unique skills, developing an ‘eye for colour’, expanding creatively and technically in the stained-glass field. I also taught beginners classes and some specialized workshops at PSG, as well as assisting students and customers with project selections and purchases. I moved to rural Alberta (Wainwright) and became a self-employed artisan for the next 3 years. I have very recently moved back to Victoria, BC and have my own home-based business & stained glass studio, where I design and produce finished pieces for sale or commission. Custom orders Welcome.
